Michael Olise denied Heidenheim one of the most celebrated victories in their short Bundesliga history by scoring in the 100th minute of a remarkable match at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. Olise's shot struck the post, bounced back off the back of goalkeeper Diant Ramaj and trickled over the line to earn Bayern Munich a 3-3 draw in one of the most dramatic finishes to a Bundesliga match this season.
Vincent Kompany made seven changes to his starting lineup following Bayern's Champions League semifinal first leg defeat to PSG in midweek, with Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Diaz all named among the substitutes. Jonathan Tah captained the side for the first time. Heidenheim, who came to Munich desperately fighting against relegation, had no such rotation luxury and made just one change to their side.

How Heidenheim Led Twice at the Allianz Arena
The visitors took the lead in the 22nd minute through Budu Zivzivadze, who finished from close range after a well-placed cross from Marnon-Thomas Busch. The pressure continued, and Heidenheim doubled their advantage in the 31st minute when Eren Dinkci converted another assist from Busch, exploiting Bayern's rotated backline. Both Zivzivadze and Dinkci had goals cancelled earlier in the match before their valid strikes went in.
Bayern responded just before the break. Leon Goretzka scored in the 44th minute to bring the score to 2-1, giving the hosts momentum heading into the interval. Goretzka then levelled the match at 2-2 in the 57th minute with another precise finish, this time assisted by Olise who had come on as a substitute.
Heidenheim refused to be beaten. Zivzivadze struck again in the 76th minute with a superb individual goal, driving forward on the left flank, beating Olise and curling a fine finish into the top corner to restore their lead at 2-3. Olise struck the crossbar from a corner in the 83rd minute as Bayern pushed desperately. Then came the moment that summed up the entire afternoon. In the 100th minute, Olise's shot struck the post, the ball bounced back off goalkeeper Ramaj and crossed the line for the most fortunate of equalisers.
What It Means for Both Clubs
For Bayern, the draw is a frustrating result from a rotated side, but their Bundesliga title has already been confirmed and the focus now shifts entirely to the Champions League semifinal second leg against PSG at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday. For Heidenheim, the result is a heartbreaking blow to their hopes of Bundesliga survival. They sit in 18th position and the draw, rather than the win they so nearly achieved, may prove costly when the final standings are calculated.
