The incident reportedly occurred on April 10, 2026, around the same time the institution was holding its matriculation ceremony. According to reports, the confrontation broke out within the nearby community and quickly escalated into violence, resulting in the death of one individual.
Security operatives were deployed to the area shortly after the incident to restore calm and prevent further escalation. Normalcy was later restored in the community.
Authorities have not confirmed any direct involvement of the institution in the incident, as it occurred outside the campus. Investigations are ongoing to determine those responsible for the attack and the circumstances that led to the clash.
